How to Send Bitcoin with Cash App
Complete Step-by-Step Guide

Open Cash App
Tap the Bitcoin tab (₿ symbol at the bottom).

Tap "Send Bitcoin"
Choose Send (not Buy/Sell).

Enter the amount
You can type in how much BTC you want to send.
Cash App lets you toggle between BTC or your local currency (e.g., $50 worth of BTC).

Enter or scan the recipient's address
- Paste their Bitcoin address OR
- Scan their QR code using your camera.
⚠️ Double-check: Once sent, it's irreversible.

Select withdrawal speed (fee option)
Cash App gives three choices:
Priority
Higher fee, faster confirmations
Standard
Default, balance between speed & cost
Economy
Lower fee, may take hours or more

Review & confirm
Confirm:
- Recipient address
- Amount
- Network fee
Tap Confirm to send.

Wait for blockchain confirmation
Cash App broadcasts your transaction to the Bitcoin network.
Note: The recipient usually sees the transaction within minutes, but final confirmation may take 10–60 minutes, depending on the fee chosen.
